The ferry leaving our small island on early Thursday evening was nice, and so was the Friday 5:45 am view of a full moon setting over Vancouver Island, but when I got to Rogers Pass, brrrr. It was the 1st of May. Banff was better.
Gerrit Verstraete, AOCA, BFA, MA, is a Doctoral candidate at St.Stephen's College, University of Alberta. He is a professional artist and Canadian drawing master, writer, mentor, teacher, and spiritual counselor, and has been in ministry for over 30 years. Gerrit Verstraete and his wife Alice are founders of VEA, Verstraete Evangelistic Association (1979), which comprises the Christian Communications Centre, an the ministry of The HOPE Centre, and the Church On The Rock, on Gabriola Island, BC, Canada. Gerrit Verstraete is also founder of the Drawing Society of Canada, and the Canadian Academy of Drawing.
