- Gerrit Verstraete
- Gerrit Verstraete, AOCA, BFA, MA, is a Doctoral candidate at St.Stephen's College, University of Alberta. He is a professional artist and Canadian drawing master, writer, mentor, teacher, and spiritual counselor, and has been in ministry for over 30 years. Gerrit Verstraete and his wife Alice are founders of VEA, Verstraete Evangelistic Association (1979), which comprises the Christian Communications Centre, an the ministry of The HOPE Centre, and the Church On The Rock, on Gabriola Island, BC, Canada. Gerrit Verstraete is also founder of the Drawing Society of Canada, and the Canadian Academy of Drawing. Details of his journey of faith and creativity are available at www.gverstraete.com.
